We have executed four real estate transactions in the past 18 months. We were unhappy with how the first three were handled. We experienced too many broken promises, poor execution, missing
of important details and poor communication that cost us time and money; we were looking for a
new agent. After interviewing a number of agents and brokers, we decided to use Jeannie for our latest transaction, a home sale.
We are very picky about the details when it comes to selling a home. Jeannie exceeded our
expectations in all situations. In a market that currently favors the buyer, communication, crisp
execution and understanding the market are crucial. Whenever an issue would come up, they
always do, Jeannie was on top of things. This started with getting the home on the market, showing
it, dealing with the contracts, inspections and guiding the transaction to close. She knows what is
going on, is tough when is what you need. She communicated with us regularly so we always
felt "in the loop." This was the smoothest transaction we have ever done.

I am writing this letter in behalf of Jeannie DePalma, both as a letter of recommendation and a letter of gratitude. Jeannie recently wrapped up the sale of a home in Lake of the Pines that my sister, my step-brother, and I had inherited from our parents, now deceased. My sister lives in Southern California and my step-brother lives in Santa Rosa, so I was the only person who was local. Jeannie walked us through the process even before we put the house on the market in early July. She either emailed or phoned each of us with updates at least twice a week. In a slowing market, she was ever ready with recommendations and comparisons for us. In my mind, she went above and beyond what was necessary to make sure that we were informed and I truly appreciated it.
After the house was sold, she let us know what needed to be done with the property to
satisfy the homeowner's association at LOP. As I was the person who was local, she
realized that the brunt of the work would fall on me and my family. She made sure, as
did her broker, that the burden was lessened by having t-posts for the fence removed for
us. That lifted quite a load!
I know how difficult it had to have been to work with three owners with three different
agendas and living in three different areas. I truly appreciate her flexibility and patience
in dealing with us. I was incredibly impressed with her honesty and work ethic. I were
to be ready to sell my house in the next few years, I would definitely want Jeannie to
handle it.

We selected Ms DePalma as our Realtor during the spring of 2006. We felt she was
extremely professional from the start to the finish. She immediately sought out our
desires in the layout of the house, the price range, and the general environment. She
worked diligently to see that these desires were met before she showed us a property.
